Heehee...apparently i have ended my 1st week of office life in the bank.
i was really really tired for the whole week and i finally get to slp 1plus pm today....hAha...so great!And i totally dont feel like going out..one reason is i really wan to laze at home,another is ....save money!so many peeps's bdae evey month and seems like i have spent on all this more than i have spent on myself...WTH!
haha...i have stayed rather quiet when im with my colleagues as i really dont know what to talk about when the things they are talking about i dont understand??haha...been having lunch with a bunch of ang mohs's old guys..haha...im totally quiet only when they asked about me then i started talking..wahahaha....i can say that they are really really different from asian..
Ang mohs way of doing things are totally different..flexible and get results as compared to asian..we slaved like bull to get the same results..haha...i kind of envy them for earning so much when they are sent to other countries to set up branches there..most of these people are ang mohs..less of chinese...
this whole week i have been racking my brain off reading up all the finance stuffs..asking questions of all the finance stuffs..and this can be seen as im really lousy in my finance stuffss...haha...is much more deeper than what i have learnt in school...
well, im kind of learning as a student in my company rather than work.They really can teach like teacher and better than the lecturers in school..i have learnt quite abit of stuffs only in the first week of the 10 weeks..sooo....more to go!hee...im looking forward to it..
I'll be attending the Shipping Finance Asia 2008 at grand Hyatt Hotel on the 27th-28th May.Below is the brochure for it. Well, im that lucky to go to such expensive conference which cost 3-4k per pax because my supervisor will be one of the speakers and he managed to get me a complimentary pass..hehee..hmm...maybe it is important for one working in the shipping industry to attend sth like that??to gather more information and network for themselves...hmm...guess i'll be very outcast in the conference..haha..just a little girl who havent even graduate from university..ha..
